To proactively address the impacts of climate change, WIN has established concrete reduction targets for Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the Company has set site-specific objectives to adapt to extreme climate conditions. The Sustainability Development Team monitors annual progress across all sites, reviews and updates the climate targets on a rolling basis, and reports the outcomes to the Board of Directors each year to ensure their continued effectiveness and relevance.
The Waste Management System was established with the primary objective of promoting sustainable resource utilization and proper waste disposal. Through the implementation of comprehensive management procedures, all waste management operations are systematically carried out. Based on the differing characteristics and treatment requirements of various types of waste, a structured classification and management mechanism has been developed to ensure that each type of waste is handled appropriately, thereby achieving the dual goals of environmental protection and resource recycling.
